Hiii, I'm Chiara! I am 30 years old, Italian, and I've been living in Hong Kong for 5 years. I work in banking as a Compliance Associate and I am based in Central. Growing up, I always had pets at home (mostly cats; only recently my mum adopted a dog), all rescued from shelters and raised with love by my family. I’m a true cat person, but since moving to Hong Kong alone, I don’t have pets of my own since it would be difficult to manage as I live by myself. I miss my cat so much (Cosmina, the lovely one in my profile photo) since I only get the chance to see her once a year, so becoming a cat sitter is a way for me to fill that gap.

For the past two years, I’ve taken care of my friend’s cat here in Hong Kong whenever she travels, and now I’d love to do the same for anyone else in need. This is actually my first time offering my services on such a platform, but I’ve taken care of cats my whole life. My family and I relied on a pet sitter in the past whenever we went away on family trips, so I understand your stress and worry that come with leaving your pet alone and how important it is for you to leave them with someone you can trust.

I’m open to cat sitting only, as dogs usually require more time and attention than I can give with a full‑time job.

The services I offer (cats only):

Home visits

• Monday to Friday: Available early in the morning (quick visit to feed the cat and make sure they’re fine) and in the evenings (more time to play with them). Happy to take care of mail, litter tray cleaning, and plants as well.
• Weekends: Available mornings and evenings, with more time to spend with your pet :)

House sitting

• Available both weekdays and weekends. Details to be discussed to ensure expectations are compatible with my work schedule.

For cats that require medications, we can discuss it. One of my cats had diabetes, and I’ve previously dealt with insulin injections.
