Memorable Beginnings (Since March 2025)
I joined Pawshake because I deeply miss my Fox Terrier (Popeye) who passed away decades ago. While I couldn't bring myself to adopt again just yet, pet-sitting became my way of giving heartfelt, devoted care to local furry friends.

Outside of pet-sitting, I run a mature, established business supported by a reliable team. This financial stability allows me to pet-sit purely out of love and personal satisfaction. My staff often joke that my "furry kids" come first—and in many ways, they do! What drives me most is building genuine emotional bonds and giving pet parents complete peace of mind.

Unforgettable Bonds & High-Trust Stories
Over time, I’ve had the privilege of building deep connections with extraordinary pets and their families:

• The London Boy, Ziggy (Poodle): One of my fondest memories was house-sitting and caring for Ziggy. We had a favorite routine at the waterfront park, where he’d sprint like a Ferrari to catch his ball. Even though he has now returned to London with his mum, I still deeply miss him jumping onto my lap the second I finished work at my desk.
• The Lantau Island Family (Repeat House-Sitting): I have been trusted to house-sit for this wonderful family multiple times (including one stay for over three full weeks!), caring for a unique trio living together—a huge Malamute (Fufu), a sweet Mongrel (Poppy), and a cool Maine Coon cat (Dusty). Motivating the reluctant dog to join us for beach runs while sharing nightly "pillow talks" with Dusty was truly magical.
• Winning Trust with Ollie (28kg Mongrel): Ollie is a powerful 28kg boy who was initially very reserved, hesitant to walk, and slow to trust strangers. Within just a couple of days of gentle, patient interaction, he completely opened up to me! Now, he happily follows my lead and loves sprinting alongside me to his favorite dog park.
• Patience vs. Energy: I love adapting to contrasting personalities—from encouraging shy Yuen Yuen (Shiba), who initially wanted to head home right after pooping, to eventually enjoy longer walks; to keeping up with high-energy companions like Chi Chi (Border Collie) on exciting runs.

Every Pet is Family: Caring Across Time & Personalities
From the very first furry friends I met when I started (like the Lantau family and dear Ziggy) to my most recent companions like Ollie, Matcha, and Oats, every single child holds a unique place in my heart regardless of when our journeys began. Over time, I’ve had the joy of adapting to all kinds of sweet personalities:

• Gentle Souls & Local Celebrities:
• Max & Frankie (Irish Terrier Siblings): Brother and sister who are easily the sweetest, gentlest dogs in the neighborhood! During our morning walks, everyone recognizes and adores them because they’ll walk up to anyone—even strangers—just expecting gentle pets and belly rubs.
• Snickers (Mixed Mongrel Girl): A complete sweetheart who utterly melts my heart! Every time I open the door to pick her up, she greets me with the longest, cutest, most affectionate "whine"—as if she’s sweetly complaining, "Why did you take so long to get here?"
• Calder & Alex: Calder greets me instantly at the door, while Alex, a bubbly Rottweiler girl, shows how remarkably gentle and well-trained big breeds can be.
• Playful Companions & Outdoor Routines:
• Saffran (Golden Retriever under 1 year old): Being a puppy, he is a bundle of high energy and pure joy! Even when I pass near his neighborhood and pretend not to notice him, he instantly spots me, rushes over to hug me, and happily "yells" in excitement. Understanding his vocal love language makes our bond so special!
• Scottie (Golden Retriever): Has the funniest, most endearing personality. He looks exceptionally handsome and hilarious whenever he puts on his raincoat for wet-weather walks.
• Donut & Pancake: Early morning walk partners with distinct personalities! While one can be a bit cheeky, both listen to my commands and enjoy our structured morning routine together.
• Kuro (7-year-old Shiba Mix): Naturally very timid around strangers, but when he is with me, he transforms into a calm, obedient boy who walks by my side for long, happy strolls.
• Catitude & Feline Companionship:
• Zelie: A gorgeous, beautiful cat whom I’ve visited many times! She is super playful, loves showing off her skills during playtime, and always rolls over to demand belly rubs.
• Kingston: A shy boy who earned my heart. Every time I visit, he immediately welcomes me with his sweet, persistent meows, super excited for his favorite treats!
• Oats & Matcha: Oats meows eagerly for attention, while shy Matcha gently comes over for quiet pets on her own terms.

I am continually impressed by how loving, well-trained, and well-behaved all these kids are. It is a privilege to step into their routines and support their unique personalities with seamless, dedicated care.
