Experienced cat slave for 15+ years. I spent years helping out at cat shelters, of both NGO and independent volunteer's,&nbsp; as well as cat-sitting for friends and family. I am good with young and old cats that need extra care. Currently living with 2 domestic shorthair bosses and am the godmother of many more.&nbsp;I have always&nbsp; been a dog person and after years of playing with friends'/ neighbours' dogs, I adopted a mongrel puppy a year ago! It's been a steep learning curve for me ( so much trainings for both my dog and me). I found it especially difficult to un-learn my cat-slavey attitude to become a true pack leader . (Well, still working hard to be loving and authoritative simultaneously) I really enjoy exploring the city with my dog and meeting other dogs and owners. The sense of community is satisfying and I decide to make a side gig out of it.I am an easy-going person who takes pet-caring seriously. I have a relatively relaxed, flexible work-from-home job that allows me the freedom and time to take on extra responsbilities.I ,too, understand the important for both the owner's peace of mind and the pet's well-being to have a reliable and helpful pet-sitter while the owners are not around. I wish I could help out my fellow pet owners and make some furry friends too.&nbsp;&nbsp;I am available for dog-walking (twice daily, 1 hr each) and cat-sitting (meal time visits and social time, around 1 hr each). I am available to look after your cat in your home while you are away. I've had cats on and off since I was a young child and currently
have one cat roommate. Friends and neighbours have entrusted me over the years to look after their beloved pets and I have enjoyed caring for their animals and making sure they're in good spirits while their owners are away.
Knowing that cats have varying personalities, I will vary my approach depending on whether your pet is shy of strangers or an affectionate cat that craves attention.
My cat, Kimchi, came to live me over a year ago as a friend was struggling to relocate her to Australia because of the disruptions to flights thanks to Covid. It's been good to get to know Kimchi’s personality and to gain her trust over the past 12+ months. During the time she’s lived with me, I’ve also learnt her rhythms and likes and dislikes, allowing me to make sure she’s as happy as can be. 
I've travelled overseas since she's been with me and understand the value of a reliable sitter for peace of mind and to ensure you return to a happy pet. 
I’d like to extend this to others who are planning a trip out of HK and I am available to look after cats in the Eastern District, Kennedy Town or Sai Ying Pun.
I am available in the evenings on weekdays or more flexibly during the weekend or public holidays. Depending on your cat, I will spend around half an hour with them to feed them and play. 
If needed, I can also tend to your plants.

I'm a very patient person and have personal experinece with a big and aggressive/anxious dog, so I'm very aware of any triggers and confident that I can manage most personalities and handle them physically on walks.&nbsp;
I'm very flexible on location as I have a motorbike, so happy to travel anywhere, but rates will change slightly based on distance from HK island. Services offered:- Walking: 30+ minute walks and happy to take them on longer excursions into the country parks (1-2+ hours).&nbsp;
- House visits &amp; sitting: Highly flexible on location, timing and length of stay.&nbsp;
- Dog boarding: Happy for your pet to stay in our spacious 800+ sqft flat on HK island and can provide photos/videos.

Hi everyone! I am Iván, a PhD former from Ghent University and University of Antwerp. I am now living in Hong Kong for my post doc so I will be also looking for your cute pets to take care around The University of Hong Kong (HKU) (Kadoorie Building - HKU MTR station). I am from Perú and I was doing pet sitting for almost 2 yrs in Belgium. I would like to spend some of my time by taking care of different pet animals also here in Hong Kong. I have lived in studios/apartments in Belgium, and now in a shared place in Hong Kong. So, I had not the possibility to have cute pets and I really miss it. I believe they are the best company for some people, as for me. I always manage my time with my work, and have free time for friends and enjoy Hong Kong. So I think is not a problem to take care of your cute pets. The best is to help you tacking care of your pet at your place and taking him/her out for a walk (~30 min). Or also check them to give food and company. I am open to do whatever is needed to make your pet happy. I am more free during the weekends. Helloooo! I have been with dogs for over 20 years with experience of looking after small and big dogs. I currently have 1 mongrel adopted from PGRS, she is a sweet little angel. I love taking my dogs for walks and hikes. I am familiar with hiking trails in Hong Kong and walking with dogs. If your dogs enjoys long walks and mountains, I would be more than happy to take them for hiking. For small furry buddies, we can do short walk around the community at your desired time and location. I own a vehicle, so I can come pick them up and bring them to a dog park or Penfold too!
I owned a Pomeranian at the age of 6, he was there for me throughout primary school, secondary school and university. He passed away at the age of 18 without much pain. We were super proud of him and miss him everyday in our life. Just 3 years ago I have adopted my beautiful girl, she is a black mongrel. Mongrel and Pomeranian are very different in terms of characteristics, energy level, the types of care they need. They are totally different experience but does not make me love them less :)
