Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Sha Tin home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Sha Tin.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Sha Tin home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi there! My name is Luella, a student studying in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I am based in New Territories, though willing to travel almost anywhere to cat sit, if it's near an MTR!
I have been cat-stting for a couple of years now, and have worked with many different clients, so I believe that I am a cat sitter with satisfactory experience and am very reliable!
To add on, I have always loved cats in general and adore spending time and playing with them, or even just hanging around to give it its personal space. Given the chance to finally spend time with these furry friends outside home, it's definitely an opportunity I will not hesitate to take.
Though I do not own any animals at home, there is a special place in my heart where I love to take care of cats.
For my experience, I have so far worked with several clients. For cat sitting, I had to do tasks such as cleaning the litter box, refilling food and water bowls, playing with the cat, and also doing a few additional tasks such as watering plants and refilling water in a humidifier. I have additionally worked alongside with a pet sitting company in order to cater to the client's cat's needs.
I currently offer at-home cat-sitting ranging from 30 minutes to an hour of my stay at your house! This service will include refreshing food and water, cleaning for the cat (upon request) and cleaning cat litter. Of course I will be playing with the cat as well! I am also open to doing any additional requests if needed such as watering plants and bringing in mail. I am usually available all-day as I've completed my studies, so anytime for a booking should work with me!
Apart from cat-sitting, I also offer all dog services! My experience is more concentrated with cat-related services, but I used to have a dog and have lots of experience taking care of it such as walking, potty training, tricks training, and more! I am happy to take your dog out for a walk or take care of it while you are away.
I am especially fluent in English and Tagalog, but I can also speak basic Cantonese and French.
Please do contact me if you are interested, thank you so much!

About MeHello! I’m Daniel, a dedicated pet lover, caretaker, cat dad and experienced animal rescuer with over 10 years of pet care under my belt. Over the past four years, I’ve rescued and fostered 28 stray cats in Malaysia, finding each of them loving homes and adopting three amazing cats myself. Bringing them with me to Hong Kong meant six months of quarantine in Europe, but they’re happily here with me now and thriving. With skills in TNR, caring for newborns, administering medication, grooming, and making spaces cat-safe, I’ve learned to handle everything from litter training to syringe feeding.
Why Me?I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and health conditions, from playful kittens to senior cats or dogs that need extra support and gentle care. As a fellow pet owner I understand all too well any need or concern you might have with your beloved pet. I am in the same situation and know exactely what it takes to care for any animal. With my experience as a animal rescuer, pet sitter, cat foster, dog walker, and trainer, I bring a calm, attentive approach to each pet, treating them like family. I’m organized, reliable, and flexible with schedules, and I’ll provide frequent updates, including photos and videos, to keep you connected with your pet while you’re away.
My Offered Services
Cat Sitting and grooming: I provide tailored home visits that include feeding, litter care, grooming, playtime, applying medication and plant care if needed. Each visit is designed to keep your pet content, entertained, and cared for just the way you want me to.
Dog Walking and Dog sitting: I offer hourly on-leash walks, feeding, cleanup, and optional grooming. With a extensive 12 year experience and a background as a dog owner I am well aware of any dogs need and desires from walking, playing, comforting and training, your dog will receive both exercise and positive guidance.
Whether you have a cat, dog, rabbit, ferret or lizzard, I’m here to keep your pet happy, safe, entertained, and comfortable while you’re away. Just message me, and let’s set up a time to meet!My AvailabilityI am flexible on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Lantau, Lamma Island and Discorey Bay on request.

My passion for animals, especially dogs, has been a lifelong constant. Growing up around pets taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and consistent care. Recently, I began volunteering at a local dog shelter, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs with a variety of needs, temperaments, and backgrounds. This experience has deepened my understanding of canine behavior and strengthened my commitment to working with animals. I'm also planning to attend a certified dog trainer course in the near future to further develop my skills. Becoming a dog sitter allows me to combine my love for dogs with the opportunity to help others by ensuring their pets are well cared for in their absence. I understand that dogs are more than just pets—they're family members. My goal is to provide them with a safe, loving, and engaging environment while giving their owners peace of mind. I take great joy in building trust with both pets and their owners, and I view dog sitting as both a responsibility and a privilege.

Hi everyone this is Jeryl, raised two poodle from baby with almost 20 years of experience taking care of dogs. Also volunteering in a shelter for those waiting for a home.
My work hours are flexible so I'm more than happy to provide sitting and day care service whenever you needed.
Both of my kids were raised in a lovely family of four humans, the white one (Kenki) I got him when I was in Australia and bought him back to HK, who lived to the age of 17 and the brown one (Milo) who's actually the son of Kenki, unfortunately passed away in late February this year due to incurable illness...left all of us devastated and missing him every day since.
And that's one of the main reason I would like to start being a care taker since I believe furry kids are part of the family and they do deserve the best from us.
Services including:

* Day or overnight home sitting at my place preferably smaller breeds under 10kg. (An apartment about 1500 fts with a fenced balcony so plenty of exercise space :)
* Day or night home sitting at your own home
* Home visiting for feeding
* 1-2 time walkie a day
* Playing, brushing or basic training enforcement etc

Please feel free to contact if you in need hope to see you and your furry family soon

This is Angel Young, a freelancer, dog and cat lover, with 10 years experience in pet cares, pet sitting and dog walking. I have three mongrel dogs, 9 years old and I have been working as a volauteer in an animal charity shelter for ten years. During the years, I worked on dog and cat rescue and adoptions, also gained lots of experince in dog walking, taking care of puppies, adult and senior dogs. Being a sitter is not only a job to me but also treasure time to spend with the animals.
I believed pets can stay more happier at home with a sitter who gives them loving care and companionship, their parents can get real peace of mind knowing their pets (and home) are cared for while they’re away. Basically I'm happy to help you with your pets so you can have a trip without extra stress about your pet. I will treat them normally and by instructions, and treat like my own pets, with care and love.
I would like to offer house sitting, home visits and dog walking (details as below), since I’m not a full time worker and work from home most of the time, so my timetable is flex. Welcome all requests of home visit and dog walking in HK Island. Happy to travel to Eastern Kowloon too, Please feel free to contact me with further discussions.
