Hello everyone! My name is Joshua, and I am a UK expat who recently moved to Hong Kong. Back home, I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds, which gave me a deep, lifelong appreciation for pet care. My most rewarding recent experience was rescuing a stray cat that required major eye surgery. Managing her intense recovery, complex medical schedule, and rehabilitation taught me firsthand how to provide highly attentive, gentle care to animals when they are at their most vulnerable. Today, she is completely healthy and thriving! I am incredibly excited to bring this same level of love, patience, and dedication to your beloved pets.

Services I Offer & My House-Sitting Routine

Because I want your pets to be as happy and relaxed as possible, I specialize in care provided directly at your home or neighborhood:

House Sitting: When staying at your home, my priority is keeping your pet's exact daily routine identical to when you are there. A typical day includes a morning walk/potty break, structured feeding times, dedicated afternoon playtime or brushing, a evening walk, and plenty of couch companionship. I will also take care of basic household tasks like collecting mail or watering plants.Dog Walking: A standard 45-minute active session around your neighborhood to ensure your dog gets plenty of exercise, sniffing time, and mental stimulation.Home Visits (Cats & Dogs): Perfect for independent pets. Each drop-in lasts 30 to 45 minutes, during which I will feed them, clean up litter boxes, and engage them in playtime. I will send you photo and video updates during every single visit so you have total peace of mind!

Time Management & Medication Administration

How Long Pets May Be Left Alone: Your pet’s safety is paramount. I ensure that pets are never left alone for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time, allowing me to quickly step out for groceries or errands while ensuring your pet receives maximum companionship and regular potty breaks.Medication Administration: Thanks to my intensive experience caring for a recovering rescue cat, I am fully confident and experienced in administering oral medications (pills, tablets, liquids) mixed with food or given directly, as well as applying topical treatments, eye drops, and ear drops.

My Setup & Preferences

Ideal Guests: Since I grew up with a wide variety of animals, I am happy to care for dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, and small pocket pets like hamsters.My Environment: I currently live in a small apartment, which is why I do not offer boarding or daycare at my location. I find that pets are much more comfortable, secure, and stress-free when they stay in their own familiar environment anyway!
