Many cat owners will understand that cats can be fussy and prefer their own home environment rather than an unfamiliar place like a cattery or cat hotel. Although some cats can adapt to cat boarding if they have to, most cats become stressed when transported somewhere new.

This is where a friendly Sha Tin Pawshake cat feeder or carer can help. Our Sha Tin cat sitting expert can come and visit your cat while you are away on holiday or at work. A cat sitter can even stay overnight if required, which is far less stressful than sending your feline friend to a cattery for cat boarding. Whether you just need a sitter for a couple of hours or someone to visit each day for a week, our Sha Tin cat sitters can tailor their service to suit you and please even the fussiest kitty.

Although most cats are independent, having a cat carer visit has a lot of benefits. Your chosen Pawshake cat sitter can feed, freshen up the water bowl, tidy the litter tray, and spend quality time with your cat. And unlike a cattery or cat hotel, your cat can chill out in their own familiar space.

Finally, every booking with Pawshake is with a verified carer and includes the Pawshake Guarantee and veterinary coverage, so you have nothing to worry about when it comes to your feline companion!

Mega animal lover.
Im a huge cat person, and also I like dogs. I have 3 pet rescue cats of my own, for 5 years. One I got as a completely ferral stray kitten and domesticated her myself.
I love animals and enjoy interacting and taking care of them.
I started using paw shake my self when i went on holiday to find someone to sit for mycats as i would always freak out having friends do it who dont have cat experience. Worrying "what if my cat gets out" or "what if they open a window" etc until i found someone i trust.
I work in Sheung wan cutting hair 6 days a week with a very flexible schedule so I can do house visits in the surrounding areas easily between the hours of 10am-9pm for 30 minutes to 1 hour if needed.
Cats or dogs are both OK of any size and i can do house visits, feed, play, brush them, give them some attention as needed, but i dont walk dogs as I dont want to be responsible for what happens outside with other dogs/pets etc in dog parks etc
I dont host pets at my house either due to my own pets.
Some of my clients asked me to look after their cats when they went on holiday so I start to consider doing it for a few more people as its like the best side gig ever! Lol
Any questions please contact me.

**About Me & Why I’m the Right Choice for Your Dog**

Hello! I’m Anson, and my life has revolved around dogs for 10 years. As a dog trainer assistant and handler, I’ve spent years working with everything from spirited puppies to high-drive working breeds, and every lovable goofball in between. My approach blends structured training with genuine affection—because a well-cared-for dog isn’t just obedient; they’re confident, respect, and thriving.

**Why Pet Sitting? Because Dogs Deserve More Than Just "Checking In."**
I don’t just feed and walk dogs—I *engage* with them. My training background means I read canine body language fluently, so I can tailor interactions to your dog’s personality. Shy? We’ll build trust with patience. Energetic? We’ll burn off steam with purposeful play. Senior or special needs? Gentle care and vigilance are my priority.

**What Sets My Services Apart:**
**Training-Integrated Care** – Walks include loose-leash practice, and I reinforce your existing commands (or teach basics if you’d like).
**Transparent Updates** – No generic "he’s fine!" texts—expect photos/videos and honest notes about mood, appetite, and behavior.
**Emergency Preparedness** – I always have a backup plan (because life happens).

I’m insured, bonded, and deeply committed to treating your dog like my own. Whether you need a midday walker or a trusted sitter for vacations, I’m here to provide expertise *and* heart. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet—your pup’s tail will thank you!

**P.S.** Ask me about my "Manners & Motion" add-on—a mini-training session during sits!

Animals hold a very special place in my life. Nearly five years ago, I adopted a rescue dog who has truly been a gift and has changed my life for the better. Supporting her development required patience, consistency, and attentiveness, and this experience has given me a deep appreciation for the trust that exists between pets and their caregivers. It is this sense of responsibility that motivates me to provide reliable and compassionate care to every pet entrusted to me.
Most of my hands-on experience comes from caring for my own dog on a daily basis, including walks, feeding routines, playtime, and ensuring a structured and calm environment. In addition, I have regularly helped neighbours by caring for and walking their dogs when they were away. During these occasions, I have been comfortable managing two and up to three dogs at the same time, ensuring each dog remains safe, well supervised, and comfortable throughout the walk.
Dog walks typically last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the dog’s age, energy level, and routine, as well as depending on the weather, especially in the hotter summer months.
During home visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and close supervision. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully, as maintaining familiar routines helps pets feel secure.
For pets that may feel nervous or shy, I take a calm and patient approach, allowing them time to build trust at their own pace. Safety is always a priority. I remain attentive during walks, keep dogs on leash unless otherwise instructed, and avoid unsafe environments. In case of unexpected situations, I communicate promptly with the owner and follow agreed guidance to ensure the pet’s well-being.
For everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home.
My objective is simple: to provide a dependable, calm, and caring presence so your pet feels comfortable and well looked after while you are away.

My life is full of cats !!
I had 3 domestic short hairs, they accompanied me for 15 happy years, and I decided to become a pet-sitter when they completed their journey on earth. I used to take care of cats for friends and colleagues but I need to know pets better as a pet-sitter, I know.
So, I completed a pet-sitter course offered by Hong Kong One Pet Academy (HKOPA)️, Pet First Aid and Emergency Care Couse by St.John️, Cat Behavior course by SPCA️, and Dog Massage class by Yan Oi Tong. ️
And believe it or not, I am planning to study Reikki healing, I wish one day I can help old and sick pets to remedy their pain and sickness as well.
Time really flies, I have been a petsitter for half year already by now, and I am ready to help more pet owners to take good care of their little angels in the coming year and many more.

A devoted pet lover—especially when it comes to cats. Since adopting two of them into our home, my husband and I have grown even closer. Life just wouldn’t be complete without them. It’s like having two more little kids around—our lives are so much richer and filled with joy.

We cherish the happiness, love, and healing that pets bring. Just seeing them is enough to make worries disappear. We truly want to love and care for them as much as we can, and give them a happy and warm home.
I have also completed a certified pet-sitting course.
