I am available to look after your cat in your home while you are away. I've had cats on and off since I was a young child and currently
have one cat roommate. Friends and neighbours have entrusted me over the years to look after their beloved pets and I have enjoyed caring for their animals and making sure they're in good spirits while their owners are away.
Knowing that cats have varying personalities, I will vary my approach depending on whether your pet is shy of strangers or an affectionate cat that craves attention.
My cat, Kimchi, came to live me over a year ago as a friend was struggling to relocate her to Australia because of the disruptions to flights thanks to Covid. It's been good to get to know Kimchi’s personality and to gain her trust over the past 12+ months. During the time she’s lived with me, I’ve also learnt her rhythms and likes and dislikes, allowing me to make sure she’s as happy as can be. 
I've travelled overseas since she's been with me and understand the value of a reliable sitter for peace of mind and to ensure you return to a happy pet. 
I’d like to extend this to others who are planning a trip out of HK and I am available to look after cats in the Eastern District, Kennedy Town or Sai Ying Pun.
I am available in the evenings on weekdays or more flexibly during the weekend or public holidays. Depending on your cat, I will spend around half an hour with them to feed them and play. 
If needed, I can also tend to your plants.

Cat-sitter by day, singer by night! 
I am a trustworthy, experienced cat owner and long term cat lover. I grew up with two ragdolls and one domestic, and had one of my own here in Hong Kong who is sadly no longer with me.&nbsp;
I am volunteering with LAP Lifelong Animal Protection Charity for cats and recently met a cat I would love to adopt, however I realised in doing so, I would need to find a responsible sitter if I ever go on holiday, and I need to be certain I have a plan in place should that time come, which is how I came across Pawshake.&nbsp;
It was so great to discover this great community of animal lovers who help to take care of other people's pets and I realised, as a cat lover myself, I can in turn help someone else who needs their cats looked after while out of town.&nbsp;
WHY CHOOSE ME?
I know how difficult it can be to get a friend or family member to commit to visiting your cat so I would like to offer my services in doing so.&nbsp;
I am happy to meet up first and meet your cats in order for you to tell me any specific details about how you would like things to be done for your feline friend, as I would expect to be able to do the same for my own cat.
I am patient and know that some cats need time to warm up to you being around, I am willing to give a little time to attempt to build your cats trust, or just to leave them be if that is preferred! 
I am also willing to water house plants (with instructions) whilst visiting your place, it's important to keep them healthy while you're gone too!
AVAILABILITY &amp; SERVICE:
I am a full-time freelance vocalist performing at restaurants, bars and events and I usually work during evenings.&nbsp;
I am available afternoons between 1:30-5:30pm (or if at all required, late night 00:00-2:00am) to provide home visits to feed, change water, groom and play with your cat(s) once a day for at least 30 minutes to one hour per session while you are away and of course take care of their litter tray hygiene!&nbsp;
I have experience giving tablet oral medication to my own cat and also clipping their claws, cleaning cats ears, eyes, nose and mouth with saline solution and cotton pads (doing so for another cat would depend on their temperament). Willing to do so under the instruction of the owner. 






I live alone and know well the stresses of not being able to attend to my dogs at home especially when I travel for work. With fairly flexible evenings and weekends and also two now senior mini dachshunds (age 12 and 13) that don't require as much activity as they used to, I hope to offer my time and my 30 years of experience growing up and living with dogs to those in need of support in my neighbourhood. I'm happy to learn about other dogs' habits and likes/dislikes and offer quality company and walks to them to help keep them happy and healthy. There are a few joys in life better than being in the presence of a dog and ￼seeing them enjoy the companionship and activity that they deserve. Sometimes we can't do everything by ourselves as much as we want to and I see the value of a resource like this.

Having always lived with pets, I have experience taking care of dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and fishes. I am passionate about animals and enjoy bonding with them. I am grateful I can usually connect quite instantly with many animals, and proud to say that the pets and their owners have been happy with my service. 
Most of my previous pet sitting experience were with dogs and cats - with different sizes and temperaments, and multiple animal households as well. I will give them all love and care as I would with my own pets, and hope to become their best pal and company while owners cannot be around. 
I believe being a petsitter, it is just as important to have good communication with the "hoomans" just as well as their pets! I am open to communication about the best arrangements for caring of your pets, and I hope to take your worries away while you are away from your beloved pets, whether you are at work or on vacation. 
I am available to do dog walking, house visits to take care of your cats and other small animals, as well as house sitting should your pet require company during the day.
