Karen Chien Ting

Hello, my name is Karen. I recently moved to Hong Kong from New York. I raised my own dog, Miso, from when she was a puppy, as well as have dog walking and sitting experience. We have attended over four different types of positive dog training classes with American Kennel Club and Peto-certified teachers; I have over 25 hours of dog training experience.  

Because of my experience with my fur baby, I know what it feels like to put your trust in someone else's hands regarding your pet's care. Rest assured, during your pet's time with me, your pet's physical and emotional wellbeing are my biggest priority. My method with caring for dogs involves maintaining as clear communication as possible. I have researched a lot on understanding dogs' emotional healths and understand their body language. One particular class my dog and I took was focussed on building up trust and confidence, from a trainer working with mostly traumatized dogs. I will ensure your dog will feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable with me. From my experience dog sitting and walking other dogs, I understand the importance of seeing through their eyes and hypervigiliance. I know that the smallest cue from them, like a curious little sniff, could mean they smelled something they know they shouldn't be eating off the ground and they're up to no good! 

I have missed taking care of my baby as well as my clients in NY. Unfortunately, because of my HK living situation, I could not bring Miso over but she is very happy and pamperd by her grandparents. In fact, have hang out in the Mei Foo and Tseun Wan parks' dog areas, just to play and pet various dogs.
