Highlight: I am a trilingual speaker ( English, Cantonese, Mandarin) - communication is key when we need to understand the need of our furry friends.
Let’s start with some numbers. I have 14 years fulltime(lol) experience living with my German Shepherd-Chowchow, and 2 years cat-sitting experience since my frequenct-traveller best friend brought her exotic shorthair home.
It is not easy to tell what I offer during pet sitting - after taking care of different doggies and cats in the past years, I find it important to understand different needs and practises of the little furry kids before pet sitting, even I am only staying for a short period of time.
As a #hooman, I truly understand the concern of letting a stranger to take care of pets; what I would suggest is having a thorough convo via a phone call, or a pre-visit before the pet sitting session starts. So please do not hesitate to get in touch and see what we can do to bring the little fur kid the best experience when you are away.
Here is a basic checklist on what I usually do during home sitting and dog walking -
Home Sitting Routine:
• Feeding & refill/changing drinking water
• Cat litter tray clean up
• Hair brushing (On demand)
• Share doggies’/cats’ updates with owner
Dog Walking Routine:
• Pick up doggie from client’s place
• Walk and clean up after
• Back home and paws clean up
• Share doggie’s update with owner
• Cantonese 廣東話
• Mandarin 普通話/國語
