I live alone and know well the stresses of not being able to attend to my dogs at home especially when I travel for work. With fairly flexible evenings and weekends and also two now senior mini dachshunds (age 12 and 13) that don't require as much activity as they used to, I hope to offer my time and my 30 years of experience growing up and living with dogs to those in need of support in my neighbourhood. I'm happy to learn about other dogs' habits and likes/dislikes and offer quality company and walks to them to help keep them happy and healthy. There are a few joys in life better than being in the presence of a dog and seeing them enjoy the companionship and activity that they deserve. Sometimes we can't do everything by ourselves as much as we want to and I see the value of a resource like this.
