About Laura
Hello there!
I recently quit my full-time job to switch to freelancing, so I have a lot of time on my hands. I'm flexible, reliable and trustworthy - and most importantly, I love pets! Some would say I even prefer them to humans, haha.
I grew up in a house full of animals back in Italy. Dogs, cats, tortoises, birds, hamsters... you name it! I'm experienced with dogs in all sizes, cats, and I have done pet sitting before. Since moving to Hong Kong though, I was not able to bring my pets here and I really miss spending time with them. Therefore, I thought I'd sign up on Pawshake and become a pet sitter!
I'm available for walks, visits, and doggy stays at my apartment up to 2 weeks. I live in a 550 square feet 2-bedroom apartment and I have a flatmate who is also a dog lover. Unfortunately, I can't host cats at my place.
I'm based in Wan Chai, but I don't mind commuting. I'm happy to cover HK Island & Kowloon.

Laura was wonderful with our three cats. She provided us with updates via pictures and videos while we were away for two weeks. June, who normally is anxious when we are away, was surprisingly comfortable and cozy with Laura around to look after her. Bolt would have troubled Laura with his incessant meows and we are so sorry for that but Laura hardly complained about it. She sent pictures / videos of play time with them. Overall, after a long wait, we had one of the best pet sitters our cats would be comfortable with. Thank you for all the help and support, Laura. Looking forward to our next collab ☺️
Laura has done a fabulous job taking care of our cat! She has gone above and beyond making sure the cat was well taken care of and ensuring we could travel with the peace of mind. Laura is a great communicator she kept us informed regularly and shared photos and videos. We were so pleased to see that our shy cat has finally warmed up to her enough to allow her to pet him 😻
Would absolutely recommend Laura to anyone who is looking for a super warm, friendly and reliable person to look after their pet.
