About Susanna
I'm a Finnish lady in my 30s, and I used to have pets of my own (2 cats, a mini hamster and 1 dog). There have always been animals in my family, small birds, hamsters, cats, dogs, and even farm animals etc. aren't a new thing to me. :)
With over 4 years of active volunteering at a local private cat shelter, I've deepened my understanding of feline behaviour and learned to cater to their individual needs. My own cats, especially as they progressed into their senior years, were my greatest teachers. Their journey taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of attentive care. Additionally, I've dedicated time to reading and studying cat behaviour, further enriching my knowledge and understanding.
I'm also familiar with administering basic medication (liquids, pills) to pets, ensuring they receive the care they need at that moment or perhaps continuously. I'm happy to play with pet/s, but if they aren't ok or they feel shy / scared of unfamiliar faces, I'll respect that and let pet/s have their own space. I will talk to them and let them know I'm nearby while cleaning up etc.
While I'm currently focusing on my studies, I'm available to provide in-home visits for your beloved pets. Please note that at this time, I'm unable to accommodate boarding requests for dogs or commit to daily dog walking services. However, I'm more than happy to discuss alternative arrangements to meet your pet care needs.
