Hi this is Alice, living with my cat Donut for 6 years. I love animals and really love to be with them.

Although I'd like to keep more cats or keep a dog, the living environment doesn't allow me to do so. So I'm thinking to be a pet sitter! I can use my spare time to be with pets and at the same time help out the owners who need help.  

I got numerous experiences in petsitting since December, 2023 after joining Pawshake. Before that, I had an experience to petsit 2 cats while their parents were away for 2 weeks. From pawshake's clients, I got experience in housesitting with 2 puppies as well as daily walkings with them (3 times housesitting experiences with them in the first half of 2024). Until now, I have some recurring clients who trust me a lot for housesitting, home visit and dog walking. I am really thankful of having their trust. 

I'm patient, responsible and trustworthy who will treat your pets like my own.

SERVICES OFFERED: 

· Home visit: apart from feeding, cleaning litter trays, changing fresh water, I am also able to water plants and bring in mails if needed. Every visit would be around 30 mins or longer to play with your pets!  

· Dog walking: Around 30mins per walk but it depends on situation like your dog's mood and weather. So it would be shorter or longer. 

The walking place will be around your home. 

Simple after walk cleaning, feeding of dry food/can and changing drinking water are included. Housekeeping work is not included.  

If you prefer a longer walk say 45 mins, the price would be $300 and extra pet would cost $150.

In summer (June- August), a seasonal pricing occurs.

We would discuss a contingency plan for bad weather before confirming booking. It is crucial especially in summer.

For home visit and dog walking, I would not go to your place when there is typhoon no.8 is hoisted or black rain. But will go as soon as the situation ease off. Usually the observatory will announce earlier so that I will prepare more food and water for the pets in previous visit, just in case. But always we would keep in touch to discuss.

· House sitting: I will take great care of your pets by staying at your home while you are away. I enjoy so much to sleep with pets on the bed if they like! (My cat doesn't sleep with me on bed.....) I am also able to water plants and bring in mails if needed. Your home will be kept tidy and clean. Also I am trustworthy that no one would be brought into your home. 

Extra fee for housesitting: 

a)The price is for up to 3 pets. HK$50 would be charged for each additional pet. 

b)1-2 times dog walking is included. The 3rd time walk would cost HK$100. 

c)The price per night would be counted as 24 hours. If exceed, a half day price at HK$400 would be charged. For e.g, the first day I come is 11am, then I suppose to leave before 11am on the last day. If I need to stay longer, then a half day price will be charged. 

d)Travelling fee may occur if your place is hard to reach by MTR, or transfer needed from my place. 

· Others: Although I have not much experience in administering medication on pets, I am willing to learn if needed.  

STUDY:

As I have interest in naturopathy, I have started an online course of Basic Animal Naturopathy and self study of Jin Shin Therapy with practising on my cat. Also have interest to learn animal communication, as well as first aid and massage for pets.

ABOUT ME: 

I'm a freelancer in teaching languages (Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese) and some part time translation works. So my time is quite flexible. Please just let me know the time slots you want and let’s adjust the schedule.

LOCATIONS: 

Welcome all requests of home visit and dog walking in eastern HK Island, especially Saiwanho and Taikoo area. I may be able to go some other parts of HK island likes Central, depending on my schedule.

Anywhere is fine with house sitting. But travelling fee may occur if the location is hard to reach with luggage.
