PLEASE NOTE: I have a full time office job! But I WFH most days.
Hi! My name is Bailey and I come from Northern Canada, a place where nearly every family has a pet and treats them like a family member. I’ve lived in Hong Kong for over three years, and work full time as a copywriter in Quarry Bay and reside in Kennedy Town area. Ever since I was a young girl I have always been surrounded by dogs – both big and small, purebreds and rescues. As a child we had a chocolate lab and cockerspaniel. Then into adulthood cats from college roommates and (another) rescue dog at home. Since moving to Asia there has been a void in my heart, because my apartment has little space for a dog or cat of my own. I love animals – each time I see a dog walking past on the street it’s like seeing a pup for the very first time all over again. I try to volunteer as much as possible at the dog shelters in the New Territories. I would like to help out as much as I can with other people’s pets and ensure them a safe and playful sitter. Pets are our family and I want to help keep yours in good hands, and spoil them with love and care.
Bailey is cheerful, always on time and great walking our chihuahua and sitting our two cats (one of them needs meds). 👌
Bailey stayed a overnight with my golden retriever, it was very easy communicating with her, she is very easy going. My dog was very happy to see her and when she left he was sad to see her leave. We recommend her 100%, and for sure call her again whenever we need her!!
As mentioned, I have been around dogs all of my life both big and small. I am patient and skilled at walking dogs especially in a tense city like Hong Kong where there are many people afraid of dogs. Excrement does not frighten me, making me an ideal person for helping with tidying up. I listen to pets and make sure their needs are met, such as always having a bowl of water available and listening for when the bathroom walk calls!
When it comes to cats, I never try to force affection on them and take a 'let them come to me' approach. I've administered eye drops and oral medication in the past.
