About Me:
I am 19 years old and I am from Hong Kong. I speak fluent English and sufficient cantonese. I am currently a rising junior studying psychology and earth science in the U.S., but I am here for the summer until late August. I love animals, but dogs are definitely my favorite. I would love to spend my free time meeting new dogs and taking care of them. In my free time, I like playing the guitar, embroidering, dancing, watching TV shows and spending time with my dog, Snowball. As there are not many opportunities to interact with dogs while I am at college, I always go to my see the therapy dogs provided by my college every Monday and spend time with them.
My Experience:
As a young child, I have been dog-sitting my friend’s pets and I have even boarded them for a couple of weeks. I have a dog who is ten years old. My sister and I are responsible for taking care of our dog. I am also involved in a program house called 4paws at my college. In groups of 4, our goal is to foster a puppy who will later be trained by others to become a service dog when they reach the age of one. Apart from taking care of them, we expose them to people in the public to help them improve their interaction skills.
My Service:
-Teaching them new tricks (sit, down, hand, roll over, play dead, turn around, dancing, high five, crawling)
-Playing with your dog with their favorite toys
-Cleaning their belongings (toys, cages, food/water bowls)
-Brushing their fur

-Taking them on adventures (taking them to dog parks, hiking, walking around parks)

Joelle stayed Home with our Cavoodle Milo for 6 nights/7 days. During her stay she kept in regular contact with messages and photos via WA. Joelle genuinely enjoyed her time with Milo and we wouldn't hesitate to call on her in the future, she was excellent.. After just one meeting in our home we felt reassured by her calm composure and her profile reflected exactly what it states. We would highly recommend Joelle, she was excellent.
